Collection: Comvolt

Comvolt builds 12V LiFePO4 power stations made to work as an RV, van or trailer house battery. Each station runs 12V loads straight from its 120A Anderson and 12V sockets, powers 120V appliances through a pure sine inverter, and charges from a wall charger, solar and the included 30A DC-DC alternator charger. Self-heating cells let them charge below freezing.

The Comvolt range

Power stations: the Comvolt 2200 (2,201Wh), the Comvolt 4200 (4,200Wh) and the Comvolt 6000 Pro (6,016Wh with a 3,000W inverter).

Expansion batteries: the 4000 (12V 320Ah) and 6000 (12V 470Ah) packs add capacity to a Comvolt station over Anderson cable.

Magic Power system: the AC PDU, DC PDU and 7-inch smart display turn a station into a full RV electrical panel with switchable circuits, or buy all three as the Magic Power Kit.

Batteries carry Comvolt's 5-year warranty and accessories 1 year. Everything ships from our warehouse in Upland, California; lithium batteries and power stations ship to the lower 48 states.

Can a Comvolt power station replace my RV's house battery?

That's what they're built for. Each station is a 12.8V LiFePO4 battery with a 120A Anderson port and 12V sockets for DC loads, plus a pure sine inverter for 120V. Size it from your daily watt-hours: see sizing a Comvolt station as an RV house battery.

Which station should I choose, the 2200, 4200 or 6000 Pro?

The 2200 and 4200 have the same inverter and charging ratings (1,600W sustained); the 4200 nearly doubles the battery. The 6000 Pro steps up to a 2,500W-sustained inverter, two solar inputs and two Anderson outputs for 120V-heavy rigs. Compared in Comvolt 2200 vs 4200 vs 6000 Pro.

How do I charge it on the road?

Every station includes a 30A DC-DC charger for the vehicle's alternator and an MC4-to-XT60 solar adapter; the 2200 and 4200 also include a 500W wall charger. Wiring the DC-DC charger and choosing a mounting spot are covered in installing a Comvolt station in a van or trailer.

Will it charge below freezing?

Comvolt's stations and expansion batteries self-heat for low-temperature charging and are rated to charge from -13°F to 131°F. The PDUs and displays are rated to -4°F. Details and storage rules: charging a Comvolt station in cold weather.

What do the PDUs and display add?

They turn a station into an RV electrical panel: eight switched 12V circuits, six switched 120V circuits, each with its own resettable overload protection, and a 7-inch touchscreen to watch the batteries and switch circuits. See the Magic Power Kit guide.

What warranty and shipping apply?

Comvolt covers batteries and power stations for 5 years and accessories for 1 year. Everything ships from our warehouse in Upland, California; lithium batteries and stations ship to the lower 48 states only. Returns of non-defective Comvolt items carry a 15% restocking fee.
