Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen 2 + BP2000 Expansion Battery (4,096Wh)

The Anker Solix C2000 Gen 2 + Expansion Battery lives up to it's claims. I needed a power backup for my refrigerator ahead of a scheduled power outage and decided on this brand because of my experience with products I've purchased from Anker in the past as well as the good reviews online by trusted YouTube reviewers. The PowerStation is of good quality, feature packed, and user friendly. I didn't have to get the expansion battery, but I've learned as a retired veteran, "Its better to have and not need it, than need it and not have it." The day of the scheduled power outage, I plugged my refrigerator to the PowerStation (without the expansion battery) at the start of the outage which lasted for approximately 7 hours. After the power was restored, the PowerStation used 14% of the 100% backup, which was close to the test I ran 3 days prior. The difference was due to charging my mobile phone. I want to note, that this refrigerator in in my garage which cycles more due to desert summer heat. I was also able to monitor using the app that I installed on my phone the temperature of the PowerStation which stayed within operating range. It took approximately 10 minutes or less to charge the PowerStation back to 100% which another claim that Anker states that it is the fastest charging PowerStation on the market. I highly recommend this product.

I absolutely love it, now I have plenty of power for my small trailerable sailboat. I am the owner of two other Anker products, Anker solix c1000 gen2 and Anker solix c1000x gen 2. The C2000 gen2 with the expansion battery offers way more energy and for extended stays in the water, like long weekends, it’s perfect. I pair it with 2 200W bifacial Anker solar panels that top it off when needed. The app is very well designed and with it I can check remotely on the status, battery levels, etc and turn on and off a couple of dehumidifiers when the boat is in storage.

Just have a couples weeks , that why 4 start, so far so good.

The electronics on this give you feedback on virtually everything and the Bluetooth allows all sorts of control over it. The expansion batter comes in at 34 lbs, making the whole setup 76 lbs when connected, comes with a very heavy special connection cable joining the two. Looks lile the expansion battery is the first to discharge and last to charge, it priorities the main unit first in that respect. The only things I would change is the case or outside dimensions of the expansion battery are just slightly narrower than the main unit, would love to see them the exact same width so that stability is as solid as possible. It does have handle grooves in the expansion battery, but could use handles matching the same as the primary unit, or make the primary unit handles fold down for more compact footprint lile the expansion battery has. Would love to see about 4 more 140w usb-c outputs on the main unit, due to camping is when everyone wants to top off their phone or laptop. Right now I can just plug in a brick on the 110 outlet, but it would be nice to see more built in. Great purchase, very happy overall and impressed by the warranty and reputation of Anker, I have many of their devices and no issues at all.

Great little unit for off grid use

I enjoyed the speed of which charging the main bank. When received it was at 60+ percent charge. Went and charged it up too 100. Short order! No time at all. Will review when I go on vacation in June of 2026.

So far so good. Love the size and portability of the unit. It feels well built. The App is great. I will use it extensively on my boat this summer and I am confident it will perform well.

I like it a lot. The only issue was trying to get it registered. I'm still not sure that it is even after several attempts. Customer service was sort of vague.

It gone way beyond my expectations. What an amazing product from Anker. The portability and the amount of power it delivers is spectacular. I Definitely recommend it.

I have not had the opportunity to put the unit to any real test yet but from the little that I have used it everything seems to work as outlined by Anker Solix. The main reasons I selected the C2000 Gen 2 with the expansion battery were that I need a set-up that could deliver sufficient power to run my wife's oxygen concentrator through a full night and also be able to charge the battery on her portable oxygen concentrator along with running quietly while providing power. Also, I needed a unit that I will be able to carry up and down stairs without overstraining myself - that is why I chose an expansion battery over a single larger unit. I was impressed with the reviews for the C2000 Gen 2 and the positive online reviews for Anker support. A week after I purchased my equipment from the Anker Solix website the solar panel went on sale and with a quick phone call was refunded the difference in price. A big Thank You to Anker for that!

Awesome low idle consumption. Small invertor for great efficiency but enough for most appliances. Powers a microwave just like grid power. I was speechless. No big wheels either.

I'm very impressed. I ran 2 separate tests using a chest freezer and a fridge/freezer. I was able to power the chest freezer for 84hrs before the Anker Solix system was practically depleted. Recharged then powered a fridge/freezer for 90hrs. More than confident, we'll be able to power both if we have a power outage or to run our camper if we decide to camp off-grid (boondock). Next test is to recharge using the solar panel. VERY happy with my purchase.

Great product,works great. Only problem for me,though, as an elder its still pretty heavy. Option of wheels would be better for some folks like me. The wheels on the Gen 1 is a great for me. I will need to figure out some dolly system to move items around.

No longer worried about emergency power! I had a power station with solar panels from a different brand but it would discharge so quickly even when nothing was hooked up to it that I stopped bothering to keep it charged and it would probably struggle to keep my refrigerator powered for half a day. Maybe good for glamping but too heavy to really take out camping. This AnkerSolix is a completely different story. It charges quickly and keeps its charge, and with the extended battery I estimate it could run my refrigerator for two full days without a charge, or a full day and still have room for powering other things, like a space heater or for charging my phone and computer. It can output AC or DC and even has an appliance-shaped socket for running an oven or washer/dryer. It can even be charged from a car (but I hope things don't get so serious that I'll need that). I've had issues running the Android app, it crashes as soon as it starts, but you don't need the app to run it (but the weather-emergency trigger does sound like a nice feature). Hopefully they fix that soon.

I always have my hot coffee in the morning regardless of the power being out.

I was able to run my high efficiency gas furnace for 25 hours during a cold spell in Wisconsin.

Reliable and does what it says it’ll do

I like everything about the C2000 Gen 2 and expansion battery combo. I have three total sets. The app is handy as well. I will be having these installed in my home, each with a manual transfer switch. Just trying to keep the house livable for shorter term power outage situations -furnace, water heater, fridge, a couple of lights - in the dead of winter . I do like the portability as well. Only wish is that I could “stack” a second expansion battery to add more backup capability but that’s easy enough to deal with for now. I see a new power connector in future offerings (hint). Customer service reps are excellent. Only concern is very long delivery times, due to supply/demand issues.

Great deal and working well so far, but here are some suggestions going forward: - More solar input would be nice - An app option to have the main unit and expansion battery drain/charge in parallel would be useful. I like to leave the batteries at ~80% SOC for longer periods, but with the current scheme, the main unit stays at 100% until the expansion battery is drained completely. It would be better if one had the option to change the charge-discharge scheme, for better customization of the state of charge. - The warranty registration page did not function for me and should be debugged; I could not load my receipt, Other than those issues, nice unit and good deal. Keep improving.
