The ARK Freedom 14W Solar Panel is a lightweight, folding 14-watt panel with a 2-amp USB output, made to keep the ARK APPB112US power bank topped up off-grid. It's for campers, hikers, and overlanders who want a compact panel that lives in a daypack or door pocket rather than a rigid panel bolted to the roof.
Unfold it in the sun and the automatic start function begins charging without any switches to press, delivering 6.5V and 14W with 2A available at the USB port. Open, the panel measures 31.9" x 9.1" (810 x 230 mm); folded, it packs down to 6.3" x 6.3" (160 x 160 mm), so it takes up about as much room as a paperback. Fold it up at dusk and it's ready for the next stop.
