ARK XO Drop Down Corner Steadies are a heavy-duty stabilizer pair for off-road campers and trailers that get set up on uneven or soft ground. Each option includes two XO steadies and a winding handle, in a 25" or 33" extension and your choice of black powder coat with black zinc finish or silver zinc.
Dropped to the 90-degree position, each steady carries a 1929 lb weight rating, which lets it work as towing gear, as a corner steady that stops the camper rocking, or as a jack to facilitate tire changes. The 30- and 60-degree positions are non-rated stabilizer settings. On sand or mud, the steadies can be used with a hi-lift jack base for an extra-wide footprint. All finishes are 600-hour salt-spray tested.

Shop AllI received the second pair of Drop Down Corner Steadies from Order #6840, and unfortunately they arrived in what appears to be used or previously installed condition. The box had been opened, the factory strapping was missing, and the steadies have several deep scratches and signs of prior installation. The first pair arrived factory sealed and pristine, exactly as expected. ARK products come at a premium price, and with that premium price I expect a premium product. I purchased these as new, not open-box or returned merchandise. If they had been sold as such and priced accordingly, that would be different. I am leaving this week for a month-long trip, so replacement is not practical. I will have to install and use them as received. I also previously emailed ARK regarding this issue and received no response, which only adds to my disappointment given the reputation and premium pricing of your products. Given the condition of the steadies and the lack of response to my original email, I believe an appropriate adjustment to the purchase price is warranted.

Use them as a replacement on my MDC USA Camper and they fit right up. Noticeably more sturdy, can even lift the wheels off the ground if a tire change is needed.

I installed 2 of these on my 2021 Black Series HQ19. The fitment was great and the "steadies /jacks" work great. I found the new jacks lifted and stabilzed the trailer with ease. I will be buying another pair shortly. Thank you.

I purchased the Ark XO Corner Stedies - 33-inch version - for my MDC XT16HR OGE trailer. I upgraded to these because the XO Corner Steadies are designed to do more than just stabilize the trailer. They can lift a corner or side of the trailer for wheel maintenance and more aggressive leveling, which is something the original factory steady jacks are not designed to do. The hole pattern and overall size matched perfectly with the factory welded brackets for the original steady jacks. The only modification I made was enlarging the mounting holes on the XO Corner Steadies so I could reuse the original factory bolts, which are larger than the bolts supplied with the XO Corner Steadies. On the rear steadies, the XO Corner Steadies do contact the rock bar. I solved this by moving the rock bar forward and using the existing front hole as the rear mounting hole for the bar. This moves the bar forward by only about 4 inches and requires drilling just four new 11 mm holes through the galvanized supports. Drilling through the supports is slow, but manageable if you take your time. Once completed, the 33-inch XO Corner Steadies fold up perfectly.

Installed on MDC 2026 XT16HR ISLAND Off-Grid Extreme. The rear stabilizers will no fold up to the front of the trailer. The rock guard on the trailer is in the way.

Bought these to replace the standard Ark corner steadies on my offraod caravan. They don’t bolt right up to the old brackets. The welding slag on the screw mechanism box was so sloppy (not ground flush at all that I had to grind down the front edge of the existing brackets .25”. Which is a lot considering they are .25” steal and there are four. They are also longer than the standard ones by about 1/2”, so one won’t retract because it impacts my slider. Ever so slightly. They also come with m-8 bolts where the standard come with m-10. All the hardware is 8.8 which I swapped for 10.9. They could have done that at the cost of a whole additional $3. The product itself seems very sturdy and well-made, aside from the unfinished welds.

I recently bought the corner xo steadies and I bought the all large ones. I assumed they would all work the same way. It was a mistake should have gotten 2 small and 2 large. The return policy is great but you lose the delivery fee which is not part of the originally price. The product is great and I would recommend it. I think it is top notch and built tough. Just be careful and size then correctly.

I had a minor issue with the shipping company losing part of the shipment and their customer service didn't was quick and helpful to resolve the problem. The product it self is SOLID. very happy with the quality of the product.

Which length should I choose, 25 in or 33 in?
Measure from your chassis mounting point to the ground at ride height and pick the extension that reaches with room to adjust. The 33 in version suits lifted or taller off-road trailers; the 25 in version suits lower chassis heights. Send us a photo of the mounting area if unsure.
