Faraday Defense ferrites clamp over a cable and suppress high-frequency energy before it reaches the equipment on the other end. The home and solar ferrites are meant for appliances, solar power systems and house wiring; the measurement is the inside diameter the cable passes through.

The high-saturation 1" ferrite is the heavier-duty version of the broadband ferrite for 1" cables, built to keep suppressing when the current through the cable is high.
