The DEFCON Home Switch is a patent-pending device that detects an EMP event the way Faraday Defense's EMP Alert does, then drives a linear actuator that flips the main breaker off, disconnecting the building from the grid before the surge arrives through the service lines.
A button lets you move the actuator forward or back by hand, and a green light shows the unit is armed. It mounts on most breaker panels, with optional hard-wiring instructions included. Made in the USA.
