The DEFCON Vehicle is a heavy-duty surge protection module that mounts across a vehicle's battery terminals and limits the energy an EMP would couple into the wiring and electronic control units. It uses metal oxide varistor technology rated to shunt 270,000 amps with a turn-on under one nanosecond.
The potted, weatherproof module comes with automotive-grade 36" leads, ring terminals that fit most battery clamp bolts, marine-grade heat shrink and mounting holes for tight spaces under the hood. Faraday Defense pairs it with its T.R.A.P. plugs and high-saturation ferrites for a complete vehicle system. Made in the USA. Not for home use; do not apply AC voltage.
