The EmpirBus Connect 50 v2 is the 12V digital switching module that adds circuits to a Garmin SERV or SERV+ RV control system. It sits on the CAN bus and supports LIN, so loads that are too many for the SERV+ display's own six outputs can still be run from the same screen and app.

What the Connect 50 does in a SERV system
- Switching for more circuits: Garmin's data sheet for the Connect 50 family lists 20 high-side outputs at 1 to 10 A, 11 inputs and a 50 A module rating. Ask us to confirm this v2's channel split and network connection.
- Connecting it: Connect 50 models on NMEA 2000 join the backbone through a drop cable, not straight onto a T-connector. Start with the NMEA 2000 starter kit and a 4 m drop cable.
- Limits: Garmin's manual allows up to 6 Connect 50 units per network, each with its own bus ID.
