The S1 Helix is a 12V DC two-piece split air conditioner: the condenser mounts outside on a rear wall and a quiet evaporator module cools the cabin. Nomadic designed it for sleeper cabs as an electric alternative to an idling engine or APU, and the split layout also suits custom builds where a rooftop unit will not fit.
The PWM compressor is tuned for smooth ramps and a steady overnight hold, and the minimalist interior panel shows status and fault codes while the Helix app handles pre-cooling, schedules and scenes. Finish: Arctic White. Cooling figures below are Nomadic's planning averages pending certification.

Will it fit my truck, van or RV?
- Mounting: condenser on a rear wall (4 in clear around vents, within 5 degrees of level), evaporator inside (6 in clear), joined through a 2.25 in hole. No roof cut.
- Battery: about 486 W on ECO and 879 W on Full AC (Nomadic planning figures, 12V, pending certification). A 400 Ah 12V LiFePO4 bank runs it about 9.5 h on ECO with no other loads.
- Power: a 100 A breaker or fuse on the positive line within 18 in of the battery, per Nomadic.
- Install: a licensed technician must evacuate and charge the cut-to-fit lines.
