The X2 Helix Gen II is Nomadic Cooling's compact 12V DC rooftop air conditioner for camper vans, RVs, truck campers, toy haulers and battery-powered off-grid builds. It drops into the industry-standard 14 x 14 in roof opening and cools straight from the battery bank, without an inverter-based rooftop setup.
Gen II brings an updated shroud, a revised lower base with integrated leveling feet, directional water-management fins and a flush, powder-coated metal interior faceplate. A PWM compressor ramps and holds temperature instead of hard on/off cycling, High Humidity Mode deals with damp cabins, and the Nomadic Controls app adds remote access, schedules, scenes and diagnostics from a phone, tablet or watch. Local controls still work without the app. Finish: Arctic White.
