Genuine Black Series safety chains, model 10-25, for the HQ Series camper trailers. The chains are the mechanical backup between trailer and tow vehicle: if the coupling ever releases or fails, they keep the trailer attached long enough to stop safely. Owners replace them when links show stretch, rust, or gouging from dragging, or when a hook or shackle no longer closes cleanly. Rated and sized for the HQ Series independent-suspension chassis as a direct factory replacement.

Installation and care
Cross the chains under the coupling so a dropped drawbar lands in the cradle they form, and leave enough slack for full-lock turns without letting the chains touch the ground. Check that every hook, shackle, or pin is fully closed before each trip. Inspect the links at the same time you check the coupling for play, and replace the set rather than repairing a damaged link.
