The Renogy 2000W 12V Pure Sine Wave Inverter is the middle of Renogy's 12V inverter range, sized for a camper, van or cabin running a microwave, coffee maker, power tools or a residential refrigerator off a 12V house bank. Pure sine wave output mimics utility power, so sensitive electronics and motor-driven appliances run without the interference a modified sine unit can introduce. The bundles let you add storage or a charging source in the same order instead of matching parts later.

The first unit I was shipped was DOA but after a month I finally got a replacement. The replacement went 3 years in one service truck & now two years in my current service truck & still going! Runs a microwave, tool battery chargers, heat gun, corded power tools, & will even run a 24 volt battery charger for heavy equipment. Pretty much runs everything I need on a service truck! Usually stays on 24/7 except for some weekends I’ll turn it off. The customer service is lacking but these inverters are solid! If this one ever quits I’ll get another renogy to replace it. I also have the 3000 watt pure sine in my camper solar setup. Runs an A/C unit & a microwave or hot water heater at the same time & it’s going on three years now.

A had another brand 2000 watter inverter that I only used to run a medium sized portable fridge and lights in my campervan that failed without much usage at all in under a year. So far this one is working great and I feel confident with Renogy's customer support and warranty.

Inverter had a bad GFI. I struggled with my system for 2 days before finally isolating issue to the inverter. Customer service was helpful as I learned I could disconnect GFI in the inverter. Inverter works now but clearly there is an issue with the unit. I should have sent unit back but decided to keep it as it is working. I was very disappointed that Renogy was only willing to give me a 10% refund. It would have cost more to send back damaged unit and send new one.

We we use this to replace a non-pure sign wave inverter that we use to power a microwave for probably 10 years when it failed the pure sign wave inverters put out such better power that we are now heating up our lunch in half the time like a microwave that was powered by normal house power. This has been a very impressive unit so far if it lasts 10 years will certainly feel like we got our moneys worth.

Seems to operate fine, but we bought it at the suggestion of Chat GPT, who said it had an auto shut off when the truck is turned off. It doesn't, so we have to manually shut it off each time we stop or it will kill battery. At some point, we will forget

This is my 3rd 2000W inverter. The other 2 are still working flawlessly after 4 years at 120V 60hz. Never had a problem with either of them. I have replaced one now and keep it as a spare. Very reliable.

Not an RJ11. It is quiet. It has passed every load test I gave it on the bench with flying colors. It installed in my camper and ran all the loads I expected. Time will tell how it will age. Why not 5 stars? Because I spent the better part of the afternoon trying to figure out why the remote has no indicator light. I was about 1 foot short between my remote and inverter. I had to put in an RJ11 extension (4-wire). Unit powers up and down but no power on light. Renogy lost 2 stars because they could have said what cable they actually use -- it is an RJ12 (6-wire) and it is required as I have proven with my troubleshooting. I am buying an RJ12 extension and all will be well. RJ11s are 3 or 4 wire and they cross the wires as well from one end to the other like a mirror image. You're a high tech company get your cable names right.

This unit is fine for lights and light small appliances but will not run a shop vac or circular saw. Forget about any kind of chop saw or the like. Was kinda disappointed in this, but knew the load’s going into it. Great inverter, lots of features, just wish I bought bigger.

I haven’t put it into service yet. I have read the instruction manual( thanks for the printed manual),pages to reference are much easier when installation and trouble shooting are involved. It looks like a solid piece of equipment. I plan on using this for a back-up power option.

All and all excellent. Two complaints: the plastic tab that lets you plug into thr device and to the remote switch is way too small. It is hard to to remove. I preferred the rocker switch to the push button that I had on the 1000 watt I replaced.
