A remote on-off cable that connects a Victron Skylla-i battery charger to a VE.Bus BMS. Once connected, the BMS disables the Skylla-i charger when the batteries are fully charged, so the charger follows the battery management system instead of running on its own. Owners buy it when adding a VE.Bus BMS to an existing Skylla-i installation or building a new system around one.

Specifications: maximum input voltage 70 V; minimum input voltage needed for switch-on approximately 6 V; switch-off level: input voltage must be less than 1 V or must be free floating.
Installation and care
Connect the cable with all charging sources switched off, and route it away from high-current battery cables. After installation, confirm that the charger actually switches off when the BMS signals full charge before relying on it. Keep the connectors dry and free of strain, and secure the cable so it cannot chafe against sharp edges in the battery compartment.
