Some owners would rather eat off real plates in the rig than plastic, and this reactive-glaze stoneware set is for them. Each piece takes on its own color gradient in the glaze, so no two plates match exactly, and the body is twice high-temperature fired to resist chips. It works as an everyday set at home just as well as it does at the RV dinette.
What you get
Service for 4, 12 pieces: 4 dinner plates (10″), 4 dessert plates (8″), and 4 cereal bowls (5.5″). The glaze is lead-free and cadmium-free. Order SKU RVP-00326.
Use and care
The set is microwave, dishwasher, and freezer safe, but it is not oven safe. In a camper, stack plates with a paper towel or thin cork sheet between each one and store them low in a cabinet with a non-slip liner so they do not rattle on rough roads. Stoneware is heavier than the plastic sets most rigs come with; this set ships at about 14 lb, so keep that in mind if you are watching cargo weight. Let a frozen dish sit a few minutes before it goes into the microwave to avoid a sudden temperature swing.
