The black holder that secures the spare wheel to a Black Series HQ camper so it stays put over rough tracks and is ready when a tire lets go a long way from help. A spare wheel is one of the heaviest single loads on the trailer, and every corrugation works the mount; bolts loosen, the finish chips and rusts, and a holder that has been hit or bent lets the spare shift. Owners replace it when the original has been damaged or when a used camper arrived without one.

Installation and care
Bolt the holder to the factory mounting points and torque the hardware to the specification in your owner's manual, using lock nuts or thread locker where the original hardware had them. Check the wheel nuts and mount bolts before each trip and after the first stretch of corrugations. Touch up chipped paint before rust takes hold, and grease any hinge or pivot annually.
