Which LiTime battery for a 24V truck parking air conditioner?

Short answer: LiTime builds its 24V 100Ah batteries for exactly this: each stores 2,560Wh, equal to two 12V 100Ah batteries, and LiTime markets them for truck parking AC overnight. Pick the Bluetooth model if the battery may be charged in the cold, since it stops charging below 32°F, or the Group 31 model where space is tight.

The three LiTime 24V 100Ah batteries

LiTime battery Size (in) Weight Notes
24V 100Ah Bluetooth with low-temp cut-off 20.94 x 8.15 x 8.5 43.67 lb Bluetooth app; stops charging below 32°F; LiTime lists 70 to 100 lb trolling motors and truck parking AC
24V 100Ah Group 31 Bluetooth 13.11 x 6.93 x 9.45 not stated 2,560Wh in a Group 31 footprint, 6,000+ cycles at 100% DOD; standard sealed Group 31 boxes may not fit
24V 100Ah (basic) 20.95 x 8.15 x 8.5 45.85 lb 100A BMS, no Bluetooth

All three store 2,560Wh, the same as two 12V 100Ah batteries, and LiTime allows the standard-size models up to four in parallel and two in series (a 48V 400Ah, 20.48kWh bank).

How long it runs the AC

Divide 2,560Wh by your unit's actual running watts. Parking air conditioners cycle, so the average draw overnight is lower than the nameplate. A second battery in parallel doubles the runtime.

Charging it from the truck

The batteries need a proper 24V lithium charge. On a 12V truck, a 12-to-24V DC-DC charger such as the isolated Victron Orion-Tr Smart charges the 24V bank while you drive. On a 24V truck, a 24/24 DC-DC charger isolates the house bank from the starting batteries.

Cold cabs

If the truck sits in freezing weather, choose a model with a low-temperature cut-off, so it refuses a charge it cannot safely take.
