Short answer: buy the base 5kWh RV Kit as a kit, and buy everything beyond it as parts. On our store the four-piece kit (RV5, B4810, Epanel, Epad) is $96.97 less than the same four parts bought singly, while every larger configuration, the 10kWh kit and the three solar bundles, costs more as a kit than as parts. The gap runs from $56.06 to $804.04 depending on the configuration. Prices below are our live prices as of 2026-09-21; they move, so check the product pages before you order.
The five kits against the parts
Bluetti sells its RV5 system five ways. Each kit is the RV5 5-in-1 power hub, at least one B4810 battery, the Epanel distribution panel and the Epad screen, with two variations: a second battery, or one to three 200W folding solar panels. We list all five kits and every part in them, so the comparison is a straight sum.

For reference, Bluetti's own store lists the kits at $3,999 (5kWh), $5,999 (10kWh), $4,199 (+200W), $4,499 (+2x 200W) and $4,799 (+3x 200W) as of 2026-09-20; our kit prices sit at or below those, and our base kit is $400.01 under Bluetti's.
Why the base kit wins
The base kit is the one place the bundle is priced under its contents. Add the four parts at our single prices and you get $3,695.96; the kit is $3,598.99. That $96.97 is real money and there is no downside to taking it: it is the same RV5, the same B4810, the same Epanel and the same Epad, shipped together from Bluetti's US warehouse. If your plan is the standard four-piece system with no panels and one battery, order the kit and stop reading.
Why parts win on every larger configuration
Look at what each step up costs inside the kit ladder, then look at what the same step costs as a part.

That is the whole story. The kit ladder prices a second B4810 at $2,400 when we sell it for $1,498.99, and prices the first solar panel at $600 when we sell it for $348.99. The second and third panels are priced at $300 each inside the kits, which is under our single-panel price, but not by enough to claw back the $600 first step. So the further you climb the kit ladder, the more the bundle costs over the parts, and the 10kWh kit is where it hurts most: $804.04 over the all-parts total.
There is a better route than all-parts, too. Because the base kit is discounted and the add-ons are not, the least expensive way to reach any larger configuration on our store is the base kit plus single parts:
- 10kWh: base kit $3,598.99 + one B4810 $1,498.99 = $5,097.98, which is $901.01 under the 10kWh kit and $96.97 under all-parts.
- 5kWh + 200W: base kit + one PV200 = $3,947.98, $251.01 under the +200W kit.
- 5kWh + 2x 200W: base kit + two PV200 = $4,296.97, $202.02 under the +2x 200W kit.
- 5kWh + 3x 200W: base kit + three PV200 = $4,645.96, $153.03 under the +3x 200W kit.
Every one of those is a normal cart on our store: the kit and the extra parts ship from the same Bluetti warehouse.
Solar: the kits assume folding panels
The three solar bundles add PV200 folding panels, which are the right panel for a station that moves around or a camper parked in shade where the panel needs to chase the sun. For a permanent RV5 install, most owners want the panel on the roof, and the kit does not offer that. Bluetti's roof option is the PV100 FX flexible 2-pack, two 100W panels sold as a set for $298.99, which follows the curve of an RV roof and connects to the RV5's solar input. That is another reason to buy the base kit and choose the panel separately: the kit's panel choice is fixed, and it is not the one a fixed install usually calls for.
The four install wiring packs
The kit listing describes the RV5 system as pre-wired between its own components. Getting it into a trailer still means connecting it to the alternator feed, the distribution circuits, the solar array and the battery module, and Bluetti sells a wiring pack for each of those runs. We stock all four:
- RV5 Alternator Charger Wiring Pack, $178.99, for the tow-vehicle or engine alternator feed into the RV5's vehicle-charging input.
- RV5 Epanel Distribution Panel Wiring Pack, $148.99, for connecting the Epanel to the RV's circuits.
- RV5 Solar Panel Wiring Pack, $98.99, for the panel run to the RV5's MPPT inputs.
- RV5 to B4810 Battery Connection Wiring Pack, $98.99, for the hub-to-battery link. A second B4810 also uses the B4810 battery connection cable, sold in 8-inch and 20-inch versions at $48.99.
All four together are $525.96. Not every install needs all of them: a trailer with no alternator feed skips the first, and a system charged from shore power only skips the solar pack. Our kit pages do not list the wiring packs as included, so treat them as separate line items until you have confirmed otherwise for your configuration.
A worked example
A travel trailer owner wants 10kWh, 400W on the roof, alternator charging while towing, and the Epanel replacing the breaker panel. The kit route is the 10kWh RV Kit at $5,998.99, plus two PV100 FX 2-packs at $597.98 (the kit's folding panels do not suit a roof), plus the four wiring packs at $525.96: $7,122.93. The kit-plus-parts route is the base 5kWh kit at $3,598.99, one B4810 at $1,498.99, two PV100 FX 2-packs at $597.98 and the four wiring packs at $525.96: $6,221.92. Same hardware on the wall, $901.01 apart.
When the kit still makes sense above the base
If you want the folding PV200 panels specifically, the price of the second and third panel inside a kit ($300 each) is under our single-panel price, so the +3x 200W kit is $56.06 over all-parts, the smallest gap in the table. Some buyers will pay $56 for one order line and one box. We would not, but it is a defensible choice. The 10kWh kit has no such case: buy the base kit and a battery.
What we'd do
Put the 5kWh RV Kit in the cart, add a B4810 if you want 10kWh, add the panel that suits the install (PV100 FX for a roof, PV200 for a portable), and add the wiring packs the layout calls for. Skip the four larger kits entirely at today's prices. Everything is in our Bluetti collection.
