Short answer: buy the base 5kWh RV Kit as a kit, and think twice before buying the 10kWh kit. At October 11, 2026 prices, the four-piece kit (RV5, B4810, Epanel, Epad) is $142.43 less than the same four parts bought singly, and the 10kWh kit costs $566.26 more than the base kit plus one extra B4810. The solar kits are now a closer call: with one panel, the base kit plus a single PV200 is $83.12 cheaper; with two panels the kit and the parts are within $6.80 of each other; with three panels the kit is $96.71 cheaper. Prices move, so the dated table below is the one to check, and each product link shows today's price.
The five kits against the parts
Bluetti sells its RV5 system five ways. Each kit is the RV5 5-in-1 power hub, at least one B4810 battery, the Epanel distribution panel and the Epad screen, with two variations: a second battery, or one to three 200W folding solar panels. We list all five kits and every part in them, so the comparison is a straight sum.

The least expensive way to each configuration
- 5kWh: the 5kWh kit, $3,338.34 (or the RV5 + B4810 bundle route above, $1.82 less).
- 10kWh: base kit $3,338.34 + one B4810 $1,498.00 = $4,836.34. That is $566.26 under the 10kWh kit ($5,402.60) and $142.43 under all-parts ($4,978.77).
- 5kWh + 200W: base kit + one PV200 = $3,338.34 + $360.09 = $3,698.43, which is $83.12 under the +200W kit ($3,781.55).
- 5kWh + 2x 200W: base kit + two PV200 = $3,338.34 + $720.18 = $4,058.52, which is $6.80 more than the +2x 200W kit ($4,051.72). Call it a tie.
- 5kWh + 3x 200W: base kit + three PV200 = $3,338.34 + $1,080.27 = $4,418.61, which is $96.71 more than the +3x 200W kit ($4,321.90). The kit wins.
- All four wiring packs: $161.54 + $134.47 + $89.34 + $89.34 = $474.69.
Why the base kit wins
The base kit is priced under its contents: at October 11 prices it is $142.43 less than the four parts bought one by one. There is no downside to taking that: it is the same RV5, the same B4810, the same Epanel and the same Epad, in one order line. If your plan is the standard four-piece system with no panels and one battery, order the kit (or the RV5 + B4810 bundle plus Epanel and Epad, which lands within a couple of dollars of it) and stop reading.
Why the 10kWh kit is the one to skip
The 10kWh kit prices its second B4810 at the gap between the two kits, $2,064.26, when the same battery sells on its own for $1,498.00. Buying the base kit and adding one B4810 gets you identical hardware for $566.26 less at October prices. That gap is large enough that it should survive normal price movement; it only closes if the 10kWh kit drops or the B4810 rises by several hundred dollars. If you want 10kWh, put the base kit and a battery in the cart. A second B4810 also uses the B4810 battery connection cable, sold in short and long versions (see the price table).
The solar kits: one panel, buy it separately; three panels, take the kit
The solar ladder is uneven. The first 200W panel costs $443.21 inside the kit ladder, more than a PV200 on its own, so for a single panel the base kit plus one PV200 is $83.12 cheaper. The second and third panels cost about $270 each inside the kits, under the single-panel price, so by three panels the kit has pulled $96.71 ahead. At two panels the routes are within $6.80, close enough that a small price change on either side flips it. In short: one panel, buy the base kit and the panel; three panels, buy the +3x 200W kit; two panels, check the table on the day.
Solar: the kits assume folding panels
The three solar bundles add PV200 folding panels, which are the right panel for a station that moves around or a camper parked in shade where the panel needs to chase the sun. For a permanent RV5 install, most owners want the panel on the roof, and the kit does not offer that. Bluetti's roof option is the PV100 FX flexible 2-pack, two 100W panels sold as a set, which follows the curve of an RV roof and connects to the RV5's solar input. If roof panels are what your install calls for, the solar kits' price advantage does not help you: buy the base kit and choose the panel separately.
The four install wiring packs
The kit listing describes the RV5 system as pre-wired between its own components. Getting it into a trailer still means connecting it to the alternator feed, the distribution circuits, the solar array and the battery module, and Bluetti sells a wiring pack for each of those runs. We stock all four:
- RV5 Alternator Charger Wiring Pack, for the tow-vehicle or engine alternator feed into the RV5's vehicle-charging input.
- RV5 ePanel Distribution Panel Wiring Pack, for connecting the Epanel to the RV's circuits.
- RV5 Solar Panel Wiring Pack, for the panel run to the RV5's MPPT inputs.
- RV5 to B4810 Battery Connection Wiring Pack, for the hub-to-battery link. A second B4810 also uses the B4810 battery connection cable, sold in 8-inch and 20-inch versions.
All four together were $474.69 on October 11. Not every install needs all of them: a trailer with no alternator feed skips the first, and a system charged from shore power only skips the solar pack. Our kit pages do not list the wiring packs as included, so treat them as separate line items until you have confirmed otherwise for your configuration.
A worked example
A travel trailer owner wants 10kWh, 400W on the roof, alternator charging while towing, and the Epanel replacing the breaker panel. At October 11 prices:
- Kit route: 10kWh RV Kit $5,402.60 + two PV100 FX 2-packs $593.84 (the kit's folding panels do not suit a roof) + four wiring packs $474.69 = $6,471.13.
- Kit-plus-parts route: 5kWh kit $3,338.34 + one B4810 $1,498.00 + two PV100 FX 2-packs $593.84 + four wiring packs $474.69 = $5,904.87.
Same hardware on the wall, $566.26 apart, all of it the 10kWh kit's premium for the second battery.
When the kit still makes sense above the base
If you want the folding PV200 panels specifically, the +3x 200W kit is the better buy at October prices, and the +2x 200W kit is a wash against the parts, so take it for the single order line if you like. The 10kWh kit has no such case: buy the base kit and a battery.

Put the 5kWh RV Kit in the cart and add a B4810 if you want 10kWh. For roof solar, add PV100 FX 2-packs; for folding panels, take the +3x 200W kit if you want three, or the base kit plus one PV200 if you want one. Then add the wiring packs the layout calls for.
