The Victron Isolation Transformer improves electrical safety and reduces stray currents when connecting to shore power, making it a valuable addition to boats and RVs that plug into external supplies. By galvanically separating the onboard AC system from the dock or campground supply, it helps prevent galvanic corrosion and adds a layer of protection against ground faults.
Available in several power ratings including 2000W, 3600W, and 7000W, plus an auto voltage-selecting version, it can be matched to systems of different sizes and to 115V or 230V supplies.
