The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/70 through 250/100 VE.Can are Victron's high-power solar charge controllers for large RV, marine, and off-grid arrays — handling up to 250V of PV input and 70–100A of charge current on 12V, 24V, or 48V banks. With built-in Bluetooth, VE.Can networking (sync up to 25 units), and up to 99% peak efficiency, they're built for serious energy harvest.

The SmartSolar MPPT is packed with advanced technology to get the most out of your solar panels while protecting your batteries. Its lightning-fast maximum power point tracking converts all available sunlight into useful energy, while SafetyShield+ protection (over-temperature, short-circuit, reverse polarity) safeguards your batteries.
Ultra-fast MPPT improves harvest up to 30% vs PWM and up to 10% vs slower MPPT controllers, with advanced detection that locks to the optimum power point even in partial shade. Outstanding efficiency exceeds 99% with no cooling fan. Built-in Bluetooth plus VE.Direct and VE.Can let you set up, monitor, and synchronize charging (up to 25 units via VE.Can). A programmable relay, remote on/off, and fully discharged battery recovery round out the feature set. An optional pluggable LCD display is available.

What size system it fits
- 70 A models: up to 1,000 W of panel at 12 V, 2,000 W at 24 V.
- 85 A: 1,200 W at 12 V. 100 A: 1,450 W at 12 V.
- 150/xx models take up to 150 V of PV (145 V operating); 250/xx take up to 250 V (245 V operating) for long series strings.
What you also need
- A battery fuse sized per Victron's manual.
- VE.Can lets several controllers daisy-chain to a GX device with RJ45 cables.
- Optional: an MPPT WireBox to cover the Tr terminals.
