The spare tire holder for the Black Series HQ12 mounts your spare wheel to the camper so it rides securely over rough terrain and is there when you need it; a flat in a remote area is no place to discover a loose spare. Model HQ12-3E is the genuine Black Series holder and a direct factory replacement for the HQ12. Owners replace it after impact damage, when the mounting has cracked from the load of a wheel bouncing over corrugations, or when the finish has rusted through.

Installation and care
The holder is heavy and so is the wheel it carries, so have a second person help. Bolt it to the existing chassis mounting points with fasteners of the original grade and torque them evenly. Check the spare's wheel nuts and the holder bolts before every trip, since a spare works loose faster than a wheel on the ground. Grease any threaded fittings and touch up chips in the finish to keep rust out.
