Faraday Defense protects a vehicle with three parts: the T.R.A.P. plug for the 12 V accessory socket, the T.R.A.P.-B for the battery terminals and high-saturation ferrites on the battery leads. Each T.R.A.P. carries a 5,000 W transient voltage suppressor with a turn-on under one picosecond, catching the brief E1/E2 spikes an EMP or a nearby lightning strike induces on the wiring, and the ferrites damp high-frequency current on the leads without saturating under normal vehicle current.
This is the kit for a vehicle with one battery: one T.R.A.P. 12V plug, one T.R.A.P.-B and two auto ferrites, which costs less than the four parts bought separately. The T.R.A.P. is 3" long, so check there is room at the socket.
